I am still in shock with how incredibly beautiful Arizona really is. As I was driving to Nick and Sarah’s forest/camp wedding, I literrally couldn’t stop gawking. Only a 3ish hour drive from my doorstep was this massive forest budding with life, ponderosa pines, red dirt roads, and endless rolling clouds. We really could not have asked for a better location for this couple seeking a simple sanctuary to tie the knot. The weather was amazing too, and you never know with monsoon season in Flagstaff. We got so lucky and thankfully the monsoon stayed away through the majority of the day, even with the sun peeking out right at the kiss moment *sigh* and didn’t come in force until the story/toast time. We all huddled into the shelter while the wind and rain blowed away, everyone cuddled in blankets remembering the good times together and celebrating the couple.
Enjoy the highlights from this wonderful enchanted day, and celebrate the couple with a well wish.
This is when the monsoon hit… but with the help of super warm fuzzy blankets, flashlights, umbrellas, tents, and a sturdy covered ramada the food, stories, and dances were saved and cozy 🙂

Hey Brandon, It is beautiful and I LOVED shooting there! Unfortunately the property is all owned by NAU and private property. You would want to contact the university and ask about availability. Good luck!

This place is gorgeous! This looks like what my fiance and I are looking for! Do you know what this area is called? I know it is in Coconino National Forest, I am just wondering where the Ramada with the forest backdrop is. Thanks!
