I met this lovely family when Jessica was pregnant actually I think about 5 years ago. We did their first maternity shoot in these same gorgeous woods! Funks Grove is such a beautiful piece of heaven just outside of Normal. It’s hard to find a haven for great photos in the flatlands, so this is such a treat for me.  Every time I go to Illinois I offer a shoot date here and it usually turns out to be my favorite spot.

I feel especially valued because they are one of my families that drove down from Chicago for this session, and with a little person to boot! I know it’s a long drive but their daughter did such an amazing job. She was shy at first but by the end, I’m pretty sure we were BFF. lol. I love her smiles and heart for adventure.
