Isn’t it neat how many chairs there are in the world lol 🪑 but seriously your options to decorate your wedding are endless. I’m sure that’s overwhelming for some people but for people like me... I’m ecstatic. 😃

This cutie went live on my blog today with her parents, sibling, aunts, uncles, grandpa and cousins. 😂 because your mini newborn session is worth celebrating with everyone you love.

I love arizona. I love that I can put wedding rings on succulents rather than corncobs 😂 😂😂😂😂😂 okay but seriously can you imagine a bridal bouquet with corn and soybeans? It’s amusing. Arizona really makes great use of its local botanics.

I have been meeting with and talking to so many couples ’s over the past two weeks. When I show them examples of other weddings I’m just stunned by all the lives I’ve been privileged to be a part of. What an honor to document so many love stories. I really really love what I do. Even now. Even 12 years in.

I feel pretty proud of myself about right now. I’ve been slowly renovating our home for two years and this week was a big leap. We finally got the nasty old vanity’s out of the bathrooms AND ripped out the cheap carpet the last owner threw in like lipstick on a pig. 😆 it’s feels so good. Also so bad. My back is KILLING me. And I’m exhausted. I got this. I’ll rally again tomorrow. Whew. 💤

I’m starting to feel guilty. I need to be editing this session but the home renovation is going to take the whole week for sure. Man flooring is NO joke. I promise to dedicate next week to only editing!!!

I’ve been all consumed with home renovations the past few days but I did find time Saturday to pop out for @pageandparcel first creative content shoot of 2020. She’s seriously talented. Soooo many beautiful things. Already can’t wait for next quarter. Can’t wait to edit them all 🙌🏼

Good morning ☀️ Do you have the day off? Are you spending it snuggling and loving each other well!? I hope you find some time to share the story of Martin Luther King Jr. and his radical message of strength, justice, peace, and love with your children. I hope that we remind the next generation the value of humanity and diversity and that love wins and peace is better than violence. But never be passive when it comes to taking a stand against injustice. Because what better gift can we give our children and the world than the gift of carrying on Dr King’s dream of equality, love, kindness, and bravery.

Looking through Elliot and Nicole’s photos to pick a good one for their anniversary last week and I found this gem. This is still one of my favorite engagements sessions in the last 10 years of shooting love stories. It was epic. We shot at the Grand Canyon and had the most epic adventure. EVER. We laughed and got whipped around by the craziest wind and thoroughly highly enjoy each other’s company. Moments like these make me keep doing what I do. I was made for this and the clients that come into my life make this life good. So yeah. Just had to share and remind myself

Man. I finally broke my workout strike today. I broke my toe a few months ago and stopped working out... then somehow I just never got my butt back in. Whew it feels good!!!!!

Spent yesterday shooting an event @tempemission -did you know that this glorious venue has a rooftop fireplace!? And the whole space can be rented for your wedding! It’s stunning and I can’t wait to shoot Keanna and Jerry’s wedding here in October! It’s going to be epic.

What a weekend!!!! I had such a great time at the @azbridalshow and I had my first 2020 booking at the show on Saturday and I gifted her this fabulous @therescuekitco designed by my dear friend @ristyle_consulting. I actually had several bookings already from this weekend. And I spent my whole morning sending out emails to the rest of you who were interested. I can’t wait to meet you all and photograph your fabulous weddings. .
