Arizona And Southern California Destination Engagement Session. Okay so YES this isn’t JUST a destination engagement session…It’s a LOCAL Arizona + DESTINATION California engagement session!
If you follow me at all you know this client. My sweet wonderful Nicole!
Nicole was my assistant last year during Covid AND she’s still my wedding day assistant. So if you are a wedding client from the past year you know her and if you have a wedding scheduled with me you will meet her!
I’m not sure I could do a wedding without her… except for HER wedding this coming spring!!!!!! haha. She’s SO talented and kind. I love spending time with her. How lucky am I that I got to spend not just ONE engagement shoot with her and her fun life-loving fiance Marcus.. but TWO engagement shoots! haha.
Because Nicole and I embrace our extra-ness we decided that she needed to embrace Arizona with a shoot BUT also the stars aligned that she and Marcus could come to California the week I was there offering beach shoots. And Marcus was a great sport for having to show up to not just one engagement shoot BUT two. haha.
So yes… we are extra and awesome and we did two engagement shoots. haha. And I’m so glad we did because HELLO awesome!!!!!!
Nicole is such a trooper too because she had to have surgery on her toe in-between the shoots and yet she still made the treck across the sand with a boot & wrapped foot trying to avoid the ocean and too much sand! haha.
A little history….
Nicole and I met maybe 6 years ago when she was the wedding coordinator for the Desert Botanical Garden. We met at a mixer I was photographing for Arizona Weddings Magazine. We hit off a friendship immediately. She even booked me for her 30th birthday celebration shoot. So I got to ring in her 30th in such a fun way! And we became not just vendor friends, but let’s meet for drinks friends 🙂 Because she’s a wonderful human. Anyone who calls Nicole friend is LUCKY. I am lucky.
I am so blessed that she was wiling to work with me a few months AND decided to stay on with me for weddings & events. She’s just such a light and joy in my life.
Also let’s talk about how cute Marcus & Nicole are together!!!! I cannot even wait for thier spring 2022 wedding at the Andaz.
