“Amilia Is 6 A Scorpion Gulch Lifestyle Photoshoot” Okay not going crazy on the title today… Because I think my relationship with this family says enough. I’m ever so proud year after year to capture Amilia’s life. I started shooting portraits for my dear friend Ali when her little girl was only 10 months old. Then I captured every year of birthdays! I’ve been able to photograph several other minis and Ali & Aarons engagement and wedding too! I am the LUCKIEST GIRL.

I just love my friends.

Let’s just be honest… Ali isn’t just a friend anymore. She is my family!

Amilia is 6 this year!!!!!!!!!

We also combined this years birthday shoot with a lifestyle family session. I mean it’s COVID so we squeeze all the things together right! Life is crazy and we just all roll with it.

This year Ali got matching outfits for the family and they went all out and had a grand HOT time for this August shoot.

And let me tell you. Phoenix is HOT in August.

They were great sports and we all had a great time together. Even their dog handled the heat with style. The girls had fun being playful and walking around the gorgeous ruins of Scorpion Gulch at the base of South Mountain. I’ve had a lot of shoots here recently actually because it’s all outdoors, fun, and open all the time!
