Life truly is a whirlwind, especially when it comes to kids. You blink and time flew by, you didn’t even realize.  I met this darling girl and her beautiful mama when she was just 9 months old. It felt like yesterday that we took her 9month portraits, her one year, and her two years. She’s already three and I don’t know where the time went.

This day was a test for me as a mom too. I needed to bring Mateo (my 5-year-old) to the shoot with me. I haven’t brought him on a shoot since he was a baby and I could wear him on my back, but I was SO proud of him. He was SO good. It helps that we live life with Amilia and her family. We go to church together and spend at least 1-2 evenings a week together on average so our kids are friends. However, I was still so proud that Mateo helped get Amilia to smile and be excited about the shoot and even posed for me to test my light.

I might have to give him a job full-time. Forget kindergarten, straight to a career. lol.
