When Nate, Mateo, and I first moved to Tacoma for Nate’s work, they had us placed in the walls of glass aka Hotel Murano.  Now if we were young & baby free – well that would have been a great hotel… but with a toddler..lets just say EVERYTHING was made of glass….you get my drift. So I started checking out other living arrangements for the 6 months ahead of us. There were a few hotels in network so I went and checked them out.
When I walked into the Marriott, I was greeted by kind staff & the smell of a breakfast, a pool, and a warm fireplace 🙂 mmmm I LOVE that. But the best part is the sales manager that came out with a smile on her lovely face. Brooke was so kind, so thoughtful, and so sweet to me & my baby, that I decided then & there I wanted to stay there instead. Breakfast every morning, staff that cared, a warm pool, and across the street from so many kid friendly thing… oh and did I mention no glass at toddler level????
So as soon as I wrapped up a few weddings back in Illinois we made the transfer. When we checked into our room Brooke had left us the sweetest gifts including a toy car set for teo to play with. She briefly mentioned she could only imaging living in a hotel for 6 months and wanted to help make us feel at home. I was astounded by her generosity & decided right then & there I wanted to bless her back. I came to find out she had the MOST adorable little family. TWINS! I love twins. And they are the sweetest cutest little things 🙂 Blessed & blessed 🙂 Thank you again Brooke – you are truly bursting with life & beauty. Thank you for everything you did to make our family at home.
So kick back & enjoy some shots from this fun winter in tacoma shoot.
