It’s always very exciting for me when friends ask me to shoot their weddings. It is a true honor to know that your friends (who see how you run your business & your life) respect your hard work, trust your professionalism,  love your photography, and think no one else would be quite the same- but it’s more than that; it’s just amazing to be such an involved person on their incredibly special day. As the photographer you really are involved every step, minute, and moment of the day (and often times even months before)!

You are there for the most intimate of moments, the first look, when they see each other for the very first time that day- her looking radiant & him beaming with his eyes & smile!

You are there for the bride when she gets mud on her dress, lipstick on her cheek, breaks a heel, or her jewelry clasp comes undone.

You get to tell her over & over again how stunning she is or tell him how handsome he looks.

You get to help him not feel awkward & tell her how to pose & smile.

You get to make them laugh, feel at ease, and reassure them the day is PERFECT!

You are with her when she needs her bustle done, when he gets nervous, when they are dancing.

You are along for every step of the day &  it’s such a blessing when they are your dear friends! If they are not yet my  friends… well they will be by the time the day is over! I have built some amazing relationships with my clients & it’s one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I look forward for the years to come of blossoming friendships. I can’t wait for my couples to hit their anniversary & celebrate with them. I can’t wait for them to start making babies & they I get to be apart of that as well! I watch their kiddos grow up & get to photograph them for years to come! So often it’s so much more than just a wedding photographer- it’s a lifetime of memories together as a team.
