Photography & Friends

So over the past 6 months I’ve had an incredible opportunity to travel to various places to visit my friends & round up some photography sessions. One of the places I was so blessed to visit was South Padre Island Texas- Right on the border of Texas & Mexico! I headed down to San Antnio to see one of my best friend’s who is located there for a three year placement with the Air Force.

Stephanie & I decided to take a mini vacation down to South Padre Island with our kiddos. She is my most adventurous, creative, and fun friend so of course I knew I was in for something extraordinary. I know that a lifetime of adventures is ahead of us still but this one has so far been the best!!!!!!!!! It was one of the best weeks of my life!

One day the kiddos all needed naps so we decided to head north on Ocean Bvld into the state park & just see what there was to see. It was one of THE most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Miles of sand dunes rippled by the ocean breeze, salty air & seashells lining the shore. All I could think is “ you are wearing purple stripes- that would look amazing with the blue sky’s and tan endless sand… and you are pregnant & beautiful… I HAVE TO TAKE YOUR PICTURE!!!!!!!!!” So we jumped out & took these… seriously all right next to her van! Who would have known? Some of the most breathtaking views ever & the funest (if that is a word) maternity photos!!!!!!!!!

I am so thankful for these images of a dear friend at such an enchanting time of her life. I can’t wait to meet tiny little Nora!
