I love these girls! I really do-this is one of the most special shoots I’ve done with total creative freedom AND the icing… These ladies are some of the most important people in my life. I have loved Megan for 12 years & Olivia since the day she was born! 

Megan & I met in 2003 (WOW 12 years ago?????) when I was just coming into my faith and her babies were just over a year old. We became close fast & she loved me through so many hard times. She was there for me through breakups, through bad choices & good ones, she was there for me in the summer when I really had no where else to stay in town.  I stayed with her when her twins were just around 2 years old & babysat for them all those years. Then I lived with them the summer Olivia was born. She was there for me when I met the man of my dreams & married him, she was there when I almost lost Mateo, she has been there for me in the most instramental moments of my life. And she loved me unconditionally. 

Olivia has always been a special joy in my life. She was the first baby I really ever loved. You know something special happens when a close friend has a child, they somehow become this precious thing that you would die fighting for & Olivia was just that. I would have & would still do anything for her. I rocked her to sleep, cuddled her, sang to her, and played dress up with her. She was our flower girl in our wedding when she was just tiny & I keep babysitting her until they moved away. Then when they moved to Arizona I kept getting to watch her anytime they were in Illinois & believe it or NOT I followed them to Arizona. haha. Sadly we have not had a ton of time to bond since she has become older even with only an hour apart -being a mom myself life just gets crazy you know. I regret being so busy these last few years but it will never change the way I feel for these ladies. EVER.
