How exciting is this?  8 years later and I had the privilege to shoot a wedding at the location my husband and I had our reception! I am so glad to present some images displaying the amazing wedding of Kyle + Brittany!

Outdoor summer weddings in central Illinois are a 50/50 chance for storms and even thought we got lucky at the Hallats wedding last month it decided to crack magnificent thunder across the country club at the precise moment I was setting up their first look! EEEK. Thanks to the help of Kyle & my dad we quickly moved to the covered porch area and Brittany took it like a champion! I am so impressed with the way this couple took everything in stride from a downpour during first look, determination to get some outside shots, to a soaked dress, to a moved ceremony… they didn’t even flinch or complain. IT was clear the focus was their love for one another and I was honored to be apart of that.

I didn’t know Kyle and Brittany until their special day, but I felt like I did from our conversations and planning times. I am thrilled to know them now, they are so warm, inviting, and sincere. Their love is radiant and I am sure it will transcend all the hard times that couples find in life together.
