Hello Illinois Winters! I forgot already how chilly it can be there. I’m spoiled rotten here in Arizona but I wouldn’t have missed Sonya’s wedding for the world. Plus we got lucky and it wasn’t really all that bad once the sun came out to play.
Sonya and I are long time coffeehouse friends, we have shared many fun moments pulling shots, dressing up for no reason, playing hot potato in the kitchen, and just non-stop nonsense. So how exciting is it now that we have been apart of each others love stories too? I, of course, was thrilled when she reached out that Sean had proposed, and he couldn’t be anymore right for her. Another treat is that I went to church with Sean’s grandmother when I was a little girl and our families have been friends for years! That’s what happens when you are from the small village of Towanda I suppose. lol.
This wedding is a real treat and I think you will all enjoy it. Sean and Sonya of course picked a fun, fresh, and funky place for their wedding festivities at the Miller Park Zoo & Pavilion. Complete with robin egg shoes, vintage jewelry, lace dress, carousels, baby goats, and of course a pinata and all the couples favorite games, this wedding couldn’t have been anymore perfect for them. I am honored to have been apart of their first day as husband and wife.
Thanks Sonya & Sean for letting me capture these memories for you.
