I have a treasure for you today 🙂 This darling little guy is only 3 days old and already a posing genius.
As aĂ‚Â newborn photographer my opinion is -the newer they are the better they pose. These little gems are so squishy,Ă‚Â sleepy, and as moldable as clay when they are just born, which makes an excellent subject for those sleepy darling baby photos you see all over pinterst. So remember to schedule your newborn session months ahead of time and your photographer will enter a few tentative dates. Then text, call or email your photographer when you go into labor so they have a few days to get you on the schedule. That way you don’t miss those first few days.
Most photographers have a cut off for newborn photos simply because once the infant finds their freedom out of the womb they just won’t stay asleep or cuddle up so easily. Also babies tend to get baby acne and skin blemishesĂ‚Â the farther out too. I accept infants from 1 day old to 7 days to ensure that you get what you want in those snuggly shots. I do offer in hospital and NICU if you just can’t make it home – like my little guy. 22 days in the NICU meant his newborn shots are on a warming table with feeding tubes, but I’m so glad I did them because by the time we got home he just wouldn’t sleep anymore. lol.
Enjoy baby Zachary and leave some love in the comments.
