I just love squishy sleepy babies! Rayla was the squishiest, and gave me the most amazing newborn shoot I’ve ever had. Don’t be envious, but she literrally slept through 9 poses! That never happens. EVER. I’m lucky if I can get them to sleep through 1 let alone let me get them into those crazy baby shapes. No matter what I do, I have sound machines, hair dryers, I shhhhh and sing, and pretty much anything else to get them to relax. Rayla also was super kind and didn’t poop, pee, or burp up on any of my props and she even slept through putting her into a harry potty costume and bookbox. lol. I am filled with joy, even a week later, just thinking about how easy she made this for me. It helped that her parents kept her up in the morning and we didn’t start until 9am so I’m sure she was exhausted. What a marvelous plan, and they will reap the benefits with all these great squish-able shots in every costume they bought 🙂

Do you lovely followers recognize mom & dad? They have pretty much consumed my blog for over a year now. lol. I’ve shot their engagement, wedding (published wedding at that!), christmas mini, pregnancy announcements, maternity and now sweet little Rayla’s newborn session! I am honored to be an avid part of their memories and lives and I am really looking forward to the next generation with this sweet girl.
