This couple! I’ve only known this dynamic due for a around a year and a half, but as soon as Savannah and I got together, I knew she was a kindred spirit! I have loved getting to know her and Johnny. They are really beautiful people, inside and out! Savannah and Johnny met their freshman year at ASU Young Life and because best friends over the next 2 years. When Johnny pursued a different kind of relationship with Savannah, just turned him down! But he just kept working on her and eventually she agreed to date. For the next two years they dated and fell in love! Now today they celebrate three years of marriage!

So what makes their marriage tick? Well, Jesus and His life giving words for relationships, and that love is not always a feeling but it’s a choice, a verb. But what about the day in and day out? What makes them, “them”? Bike rides, walks around the neighborhood, dogs, playing cards and Monopoly deal, reading together (specifically reading out loud to each other on the porch when it’s lovely outside).TOO CUTE RIGHT?
