Destination Family Photographer A Huntington Beach Session

AHHHH 2 years and I AM BACK California!!!!!!!!!

I usually drive over to so-cal every summer and offer beach shoots, but due to covid I wasn’t able to offer them last year. I’m so incredibly glad to have been able to go back this summer! I am so thankful to all the families & couples that jumped on the opportunity to shoot in such a beautiful place.

I really do love the sea. It’s in my bones and spirit! So I’m very happy to present these magical sunset photos 🙂

Also can we just chat a minute about how adorable this little boy is!

It’s usually very hard to capture kids between 1 year & 3 years. They are just so fast and have NO interest in looking at a camera let alone a total stranger behind it. But this little guy… I got LOADS of smiles and natural moments + all the play and family interactions. I’ve very happy with how these photos turned out. It was also fun to photograph a new family! I have a LOT of repeat clients which I love but the challenge of getting to know a new family & how they most come alive for the camera is exciting!

I met this family because this is my other client’s cousin! (posted Monday) The booked a shoot together with Donna and we snagged a mini essentially of each family and then some fun whole group shots! It was a perfect day!

Also I’m very happy I picked Huntington beach this year!

It was the perfect backdrop to get both the pier, ocean, and adorable life guard towers in just one hour sitting! I’ve done a LOT of beach shoots along southern California, and this was a great one! Not too busy if we angled ourselves right! I also photoshopped out a few people. haha. It was a but windy and a little chilly for June but we made it work!
