I can’t even wait to share these images!!! Not only am I obsessed with this smash cake session at The Royal Palms Resort & Spa, but I am obsessed with this family and baby Ella that isn’t a baby anymore 🙁

Sometimes time is so funny.

Days often feel too slow when life with a baby gets tough but also entirely too fast that you blink and it’s gone. Now that is a dichotomy! My grandmother always use to say “don’t wish your life away” when I was anxious for my son to move past an especially difficult phase. She was spot on, because I blinked and he’s 10. I am SO glad I embraced every moment as much as I possibly could. It goes too fast. I know for a fact these amazing parents are embracing every moment of Ella’s childhood. This babe is beyond loved! And I’m here to capture all the big moments for forever.

Anyways here we are and Ella is a whole year old and we rang it in with serious flare, a smash cake and donuts…

This might be the cutest smash cake session I’ve ever done. A donut cake combo! I’m not sure if Ella liked the cake but she was obsessed with the donuts. lol.
