Branding With Purpose Meet Lanna Dang Of Pamprd Soul
I’m so far behind with blogging and I’ve been skipping my normal process- which is usually shoot, cull (which is basically sorting out bad images and then keeping best images), edit just my favorite images, then write a quippy cute blog & post thus mentioned favorites… then back to editing all images, uploading and delivering to client! It’s a whole process! About a 2 week process in fact.
I’ve been skipping this blog process however because… well, its’ been a busy season and I’ve been just getting the clients galleries as fast as humanly possible! lol.
But I just had to keep the process for todays shoot! Not only because this is Lanna’s first official branding shoot with me, but because she has also become a dear friend and I’m just dying to share her with you!
Lanna is the owner and founder of my FAV nail salon -Pampr’d Soul an upscale beautiful nail bar with loads of other services and holistic healing offerings popping up every other day!
I met Lanna at my friend Lindsey Schwartz’s 2020 Powerhouse Women Goals & Clarity Mastermind Event. We hit it off immediately and I was sold for life. Over the next few months we found ourselves bumping into each other as we have a lot of mutual friends and decided we should just be friends outside of fellow female entrepreneur acquaintances!
Lanna is a soul FULL of life and love.
Lanna is always there with a smile and a positive attitude. She’s resilient and pushed through a very hard time when opening her dream salon. Her nail salon was set to have their grand opening just as the world shut it’s doors… yup right in the Spring of 2020! Right after I met her! But she didn’t give up. She pivoted and started offering mobile nail services, she collaborated with other small businesses and started offering them in store. She found a way to not only survive but to thrive! Because that’s the kind of person she is. And her salon is THRIVING and growing constantly.
I’m totally addicted to her nail salon and know all of her techs by name. lol. I also make sure to post my experiences on instagram and google every time I visit AND I take all my friends there and plan special events there too! So I’m SURE you have seen her salon grace my feed plenty of times.
Side note…It’s very important to support our friends & their business. I even made sure to take some iPhone shots and post them with a google review on my first visit. That post has over 10k views now! Reviewing a business on Google Places is VERY useful to the business. It also helps others searching for a great business they can trust.
I am so proud to call Lanna friend and even prouder now to be a part of her marketing. It is life giving to capture her radiant spirit and help her show up in visual content.
Lanna and I have been wanting to work together on her personal branding for some time and we finally made that dream a reality. I am BEYOND thrilled with out mini branding shoot and am already counting down the days until our next session.
One of my favorite parts about my photography and consulting businesses working together as a full branding agency, is how much purpose I can help my clients create.
Clients no longer have to figure out why they are getting their photos taken, I make sure we have a consulting call before we shoot so we have very clear goals & a purpose to the branding.
When Lanna came into her first initial meeting and we starting talking goals & vision everything came to life for her and helped her get super excited to show up and make content that reflected her heart, vision & soul. I know it’s hard to figure out your own brand and the purpose of the photos, but I am VERY good at helping others come out of their shell and infuse that purpose into everything we create!
