Stay In The Know

We all do it.

We practice the walk-try not to trip, remember the right line, and bend at the knees so you don’t pass out!

The real treasure of the rehearsal, however, is the chance to connect with those you love before the bustle of the big day- oh and having FUN! The tradition of the rehearsal is a fantastic opportunity to make the most of your friends and family being gathered to support your commitment of love for one another. So, make much ado about everything, and take every chance you get to celebrate your marriage for the glorious union that it is!

The Setting: Welcome to the illustrious Arizona Biltmore, a location special to the family featured here, and always an excellent location for a wedding. The Arizona Biltmore is a beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired property in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona.

The Planner: I’d like to take time to mention the couples wedding planner, Victoria Canada. Not only because she is extremely organized and on point, but because her passion for her job is authentic and inspiring. From my few interactions thus far, she has done nothing but pour herself into everything she sets her mind to – simply because she cares deeply about the people in her life. I watched her organize and efficiently corral a large group of excited and happy people through an ordered and well thought out plan. It’s a beautiful thing to watch! A big shout out to her and her team!

The Couple:  Abby and Jake brought themselves! I know this sounds odd, but many times when the festivities begin it’s hard to stay attentive to the moment. I met them for the first time this evening and from the first handshake I could see their love, mutual respect, and adoring family. They were sincere in all their interactions, and their family and friends reflected that quality as well. I was honored to be included and welcomed into the genuine lightheartedness of this community. I will never forget the exuberant emotions and hilarious toasts from this night, and neither will anyone else. My advice from this experience, which I saw Jake and Abby execute perfectly, is to be emotionally alive and fully present in all your wedding festivities.

Here’s to Abby and Jake!
