It’s not every day that you experience something as phenomenal as the Grand Canyon! It’s also not every day that you find the love of your life. Nicole and Elliot decided that to celebrate that love, a destination engagement shoot would be perfect. So in celebration we spent an afternoon traveling from Flagstaff up to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. We stopped every time I squealed, “Oh there! Stop there!” lol. It was worth the long drive, even with the rain and overcast sky we made it work. We had an amazing time, hiked a bunch of steps to find the top of the watchtower closed, heard plenty of whistles, danced in the insane wind, and kept Elliot as far from the edge as possible. All in all, a pretty amazing shoot! I’m so excited for the wedding.

Tips & Tricks
Easy Outfits for Engagement Shoots:
Check out their totally perfect outfits! Nicole made her swap so easy. Same skirt but swapping shirt, shoes, and accessories. Give yourself the casual look then classy all in a day!
Keep The Theme:
Elliot incorporated their upcoming black tie wedding at the Camby Hotel with his stylish bowtie. Now when we do the wedding photos and they print out some great art for their walls the engagement photos with a stylish classy look will tie perfectly with the wedding!
Trial Run:
It’s always a smart choice to get a trial run of your hair and makeup with your artist. Why waste the look? Schedule them the same day as your engagement shoot! Nicole booked her hair and make up to give everything a nice trial run. If you love the look, check out her amazing make-up artist, Corinna Cooke! http://www.arizonaweddingmakeup.com/.
