Diverse Desert Landscapes A Farm At South Mountain Engagement
I simply LOVE Arizona! It’s so incredibly diverse in the landscape. For example, just 15 min from my doorstep is the Farm @ South Mountain. A glorious almost hidden sanctuary filled with lush plant life, rich soil, and delicious food! You can also frequently find love happening there 🙂 It’s a favorite spot for weddings, engagement, and portraits alike. You can see why! It’s gorgeousĂ‚Â and the food is simply amazing.Ă‚Â If you haven’t been there you should put it on your schedule beforeĂ‚Â they close up the restaurants for the summer and you end up cravingĂ‚Â it for months.
Just make sure your book your spot before arriving, as you need to pay for a license to shoot on site, and of course be kind and follow the rules so the property stays as beautiful as it is.
Meet Matt & Kayla
Matt & Kayla found me at January’s Arizona bridal show then Kayla entered and answered EVERY post in my winter engagement give-a-way on Instagram so she totally deserved to win! I really enjoyed getting to know them both and the quirks that make them, them. Ă‚Â There are so many personal touches you can add to your shoot. Matt did the pyrography on this wood piece with their wedding date and soon to be last names. Isn’t that the coolest art to bring with? Enjoy their engagement session and get inspiration for yours.
Some notable things to mention about Matt & Kayla’s shoot besides the beautiful location choice is props. There are so many personal touches you can add to your shoot. Matt did the pyrography on this wood piece with their wedding date and soon-to-be last names. Isn’t that the coolest art to bring with? Another inspiration is the color theme for theirĂ‚Â outfits. I am so in love with Kayla’s dress! I bet you are too. She is simply stunning in it. I love the lightness of the first outfit mixed with the deeper moody tones of the second.
Enjoy their engagement session and get inspiration for yours, and don’t forget to check out the Farm at South Mountain.
