Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Raylas First Birthday

An adorable black and gold star themed first birthday shoot and party.

This might be the most darling themed birthday party I’ve been to yet! The theme was “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star ONEderful is what you are.” Isn’t that cute?

Amanda ordered super cute star and 1 shaped cookies. Their neighbor is a talented cookie artist! I will get her info and put it up for you soon because if you are in the market she’s amazing! They also had cupcakes, and smash cake, and even star shaped cake pops! The kiddos enjoyed a star shaped pinata too!

We started the day with a smash cake mini shoot for sweet little Rayla and she was totally a riot! She wasn’t sure what she thought of that. I haven’t seen last years Halloween shoot, so I wasn’t sure if she’d be down for photos. She’s so beautiful and incredibly social and friendly! She was full of smiles and hugs for me and plenty of curiosity surrounding the cake. It really couldn’t have been more perfect.

I am so happy to have met Amanda and Justin. They are really special and wonderful people. They are calm and steady yet quirky and full of humor and life. This makes for excellent parenting and friends 🙂  I’ve been so honored to have documented so many of their memories over the past few years. They are amazing parents and I love how they showered Rayla for her first birthday. Everything from the photo booth, to the many signs, the cake, candles, and decor was adorable and I’m so honored to have photographed it for them. Now the events and wonder of the day will last forever for them 🙂
