Traditions and Culture, A Sunrise Easter Wedding at the Arizona Grand
This DIY wedding is going to be a treat for ya’ll. You met Greg and Katie in my So You Are Engaged What is Next post back in January and today you get to relive their Sunrise Easter Wedding at the Arizona Grand Resort here in Phoenix. Talk about meaningful and romantic!
We met at the crack of dawn for sunrise photos because the couple loves that time of day & the beautiful lighting (me too!). Sadly it was to a totally overcast day 🙁 But we made it work & enjoyed the lovely cool weather and the good company of family and friends.
The couple incorporated several very fun Easter details into the day, from the decorations to an Easter egg hunt everything was lively and festive.
Another super fun detail of this wedding is the Katie is half Chinese and as such choose a traditional red gown and several other fun cultural customs!!!!!!!!
Isn’t that SO super fun????? I was reading up on Chinese traditions and apparently red is one of the luckiest colors! It stands for success, happiness, and loyalty. It isn’t any different for this couple.
So, Katie & Greg, cheers to your success, happiness, and loyalty in your marriage and lives. I’m so thankful and honored that you allowed me to be apart of your special day before God and your family.
