Hello Illinois. These blogs are a part of a series for my yearly Illinois mini sessions. I started my business in Illinois 10 years ago and have so many faithful and wonderful clients that I make the trek back from Arizona and offer mini’s once a year.  I just love that my Illinois clients have followed me and invested in me year after year, regardless of the fact I have now been in Arizona for 4 years! Every year I post that I’m coming and check out dates everyone is available, and the slots almost always booked up full. I can begin to tell you how loved and honored I feel by this loyalty. So here I am again in the heat of July, shooting 11 families, seniors, and creatives. Thanks again to everyone, I’m thrilled to share these and I’ll see you all next summer!

Rain isn’t gonna stop this family from adventuring outdoors for a family mini session with me! It poured right up until this session! I was so nervous but thankful they were willing to move their shoot time from the evening to the morning to avoid the worst of the Illinois storms. I’m thrilled again by yet another family that continues to invest in me year after year. It’s been so wonderful watching these kids grow up. We have had so many memories together, from the engagement to wedding,  maternity and family.

Carlie was also one of my mentorship business students, she invested in my learning and mentorship program when she launched her photography business a few years ago, so it’s been great to watch her business and art grow over the past years. It’s a joy for me to see artists thrive and create. You keep rocking it girl! Hope to see you next year.

If you are looking for something fun to do before school starts, check out Funks Grove. It’s a really beautiful sanctuary just outside of Bloomington Normal. There is a syrup farm, conservations area, and even a rock/gem collection!
