Meet Risa Owner of Ristyle Consulting (The Creative Commercial)

Ummm HELLO girlfriend! I want you to meet dear friend Risa! And WELLIE~

When you get a new puppy there isn’t a better way to celebrate than my taking photos.

I mean what’s a cuter accessory than a puppy? Risa’s thoughts exactly. And Risa would know, she’s a stylist consultant, no-one knows accessories better. lol.

Risa and I met a few years ago through the Phoenix Bride & Groom elite circle.

We both loved the magazine, mostly because the publisher Fran was one of the kindest most sincere people you will ever meet. But also because the network of vendors that Fran drew to her were kind, fun, and loyal and wonderful. I’ve met so many wonderful wedding industry people from that network that sometimes I tear up thinking about it not being around anymore. Regardless some of the relationships grew even after the magazine closed and have become some of my dearest friends here in the Phoenix valley. Risa is one of them.

Risa is the amazing and talented owner of Ristyle Consulting.

RISTYLE (ree-style) Consulting is the creation of this wonderfully trained hairstylist, makeup artist, and fashion industry veteran. Since 2001, Risa has ventured into various aspects of the finished look including special event/wedding hairstyling and makeup artistry as well as photo shoot and television styling, personal shopping, runway, and style consulting.

She also has experience as a former Public Relations Director for women’s contemporary accessory and clothing brands such as Goldenbleu in San Francisco and Prairie New York in New York City. During that time, she was responsible for pairing pieces and creating looks that represented successful brands during the peak of their existence and has gotten a chance to travel to various countries to see just what the world of fashion has to offer.

Risa has worked with well-known style icons including Giuliana Rancic, Bobbie Thomas, and Nancy O’Dell to name a few. Additionally, Risa has worked as a freelance style editor and writer in the ‘blogzine’ world, offering style advice for Phoenix area residents looking to enhance their style and look their best from day-to-day.

Risa has been recognized in 2015 and 2016 as Arizona Foothills’ Magazine ‘Best Personal Shopper’, one of Scottsdale Modern Luxury’s 2015 ‘Women of Style’, and chosen as one of the top six stylists in 2016 by Phoenix Fashion Week.

So Risa is incredibly helpful behind the scenes on photo shoots, especially weddings! She offers a package called “Bride’s Best Friend” She is so attentive to details. Wardrobe and crazy hair mishaps will never happen with her on board. As a photographer, she is an essential tool for creating the perfect shot. So now that you know a little more about Risa’s job and business let’s get to business and talk about the most important part… Wellie. HAHAH. But seriously isn’t he the sweetest????

While, this shoot is a “creative commercial” shoot from my creative content consulting line (Creative and lifestyle packages for entrepreneurs and creatives to share more about themselves and their business) it’s mostly to celebrate the newest member to her team, Wellie.

He’s the sweetest puppy even if capturing him not erratically bouncing around was a challenge. We should celebrate these moments in our lives because they are fleeting and precious.

I think one of the wonderful parts of our friendship is we both love fashion. It made us click from day one. Our infinity for clothes and beautiful things.

The best part is I actually, found this dress for the famous stylist! lol. It’s funny how when you are a stylist and consultant all day long every day how you lose the joy in finding your own clothes. It was fun preparing for this shoot and just having a girls day 🙂
