I have such a good set of shoots to launch me into this 2019 fall blogging season, starting with this Long Distance Love Stories A Salt River Engagement Session.

Meet Valencia and Jon-Michael, two incredible people that have made my month beautiful.

Valencia is from a little town in Canada and Jon is from here in the Arizona valley. I have a little of their love story below so keep scrolling!

Not only are they completely madly in love, they are kind hearted, polite, and encouraging to all those they meet. I haven’t had a better experience working with someone. Every email and interaction has been nothing but enjoyable with them. I just come alive with words of encouragement so this session was incredible for me. Valencia reached out after finding me online when searching for Arizona photographers. She researched a lot and fell in love with my business name and work and reached out to me. Her initial contact form was so poetic and lovely, I just knew I had to meet them. Every step of the way to planning this engagement session was fun and the session itself was so perfect.

Let me share a little from her about their long distance love from Canada to Arizona.

We met 4 years ago by accident while in Montenegro, on a trip neither of us were planning to be on. We’ve been long distance between Arizona and Ontario – seeing each other each and every month. We cook, travel, hike, read, watch a lot of Star Trek, and support one another – be it through a big promotion at work, or the completion of a PhD.

These two are sparks of joy in the world around them and I’m so honored and proud to share these beautiful photos from their engagement session out in the Tonto National Forest! This session is along the Salt River and even though it was slightly overcast they turned out totally dreamy!
