From Illinois To Arizona Destination Family Photographer

When you are from Illinois and move to Arizona you don’t loose clients! You know why? Because all the midwesterners love Arizona in the winter! So they come to you!!!! They migrate across the frozen countryside to the warmth and then book a photographer to capture the good times! (Except when it’s freezing and raining and overcast… then it’s sad- but I suppose still warmer than Chicago!)

So when you travel from Illinois to Arizona naturally you book a destination family photographer on your trip!

Family photos are such a great gift for the holiday too- So it usually aligns with holiday season. I have lots of group family bookings over the month of December and I look forward to it every year. 

I’ve talked a lot about how I offer group family sessions and I actually get quiet a few from google. But it’s even MORE fun when you are friends with the family for close to 20 years!

And that’s exactly what my friend Renee and Rebecca did! Rene recently moved from Illinois to Arizona so her family came to visit over the Christmas break. 

I have know Renee and Rebecca since either 2000 or 2001 (memory is failing!) We even lived together for a short transition time in my life. These ladies watched me work out my late teen/ early 20 angst, put myself through film school, sing in the cornerstone worship band together, and walk down the isle. So it’s such a treat and an honor for me to photograph their family, see their kids and parents, and provide them with stunning Arizona backdrops and memories for a lifetime.
