Dancing In The Desert A Papago Park Engagement Shoot

First, a big congrats to Kaitlyn and Austin on their engagement and wedding plans!
Again I have another couple facing the ever grow list of challenges for couples planning a wedding in the midst of Covid uncertainty.
But they are making the most of it and dancing in the desert with me at Papago park for their engagement. Rain or shine challenges and all they will celebrate the start of their married lives together this coming March with smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts! Because their love is strong and outlives the uncertainty and stress of planning the wedding during Covid.
Kaitlyn and Austin met at ASU West and fell in love. College sweethearts 🙂 They planned to host their wedding at ASU West campus in honor of their story and memories shared together there. However due to COVID there are major restrictions for a state owned properties. So they have shifted and planned and look at what feels like a million locations. We have been back and forth looking for venues that fit their hearts and honor their relationship.
I’m excited to announce they have picked a new venue! They officially booked and started planning their wedding at McDowell Mountain Golf Club. I have not shot at this property but it looks beautiful and just can’t wait for their spring wedding!
The joy and fun this couple shares is so inspiring.
I also am a HUGE fan of how engaged Austin was in the shoot and whole process. It makes a huge different when the guy is into the engagement session.
So enjoy this engagement shoot at the lovely Papago park and ASU West too! The couple wanted to document their love story at ASU but also have the iconic desert shoot with a fancy dress for Kaitlyn. So we started at ASU and ended by dancing in the desert at Papago park!
