A Beautiful Intimate San Marcos Wedding

I can’t tell you how many small intimate weddings I’ve shot since Covid.

Honestly I’ve lost count. And I LOVE it. I love these small intimate weddings and I love only shooting the most important moments. I love keeping it short & sweet and full of only the closet of friends and families.

One of the guests at this wedding asked me if I have a lot of weddings like “this” (he meant small & intimate)

And I said “you know since Covid they are all almost like this and I LOVE it.” Sure I love a big wedding too. So much joy so much energy. But as I get older (I’m not old I’m only 40 but let me tell you I have less energy than I did at 20 when I was shooting big 300+ weddings) so I can get exhausted carrying all my gear around. Because if you know me at all, I go above and beyond EVERY. SINGLE. SHOOT. Always… I am never the one sitting around waiting for a moment, I’m working constantly, finding something that needs to be captured, or someone that needs a helping hand. I’m constantly going, as such an 8+ hour day can really play a toll on me.

As such when small intimate weddings starting popping up all over the place I was super happy to jump on that bandwagon and start officially offering my “elopement” package as a half day package to anyone.

And I’m even happier when they happen on a weekday! Which a lot of them do. This year I think I’ve shot 2 Tuesday weddings, 1 Wednesday, and now 2 Thursdays and of course a few friends. Who wants a Monday? Cause I am IN! Cause Mondays are my favorite day of the week. lol.

So a big congrats to Mike & Leslie on their beautiful intimate wedding at the San Marco’s Crown Plaza & The Hidden House! It was beautiful, perfect, and full of life!
