There is No Place Like Home Family Photographer (Part Eight)
{Vandewalker Family}
So many of you know these kids feel to me as if they are my own. It’s pretty obvious they aren’t… I mean they are almost all striking redheads and we know I couldn’t handle four… I barely manage my one. lol. But what I mean is that they belong to one of my best friends, Stephanie! There is something about you best friends’ kids right? They feel like your own. You can cuddle them, discipline them, love them, spoil them, have heart to hearts with them. They are so deeply loved. I Â care for them as my own any time they are with me. Sadly these cuties aren’t with me enough! I am so fortunate to have seen them twice this year! That made this shoot easier because they had just seen me a few months ago.
Sadly these cuties aren’t with me enough, they are in Colorado now and I’m in Arizona. There is nothing like a summer meet up in Illinois. lol. I am so fortunate to have seen them twice this year. That made this shoot easier because they had just seen me a few months ago. They seriously rocked the shoot. Even the littlest was giving me the biggest grins. I laughed a LOT during this shoot and I miss them already.
Stephanie is such an amazing mom. She is patient and gentle but very down to earth and straightforward. Things don’t get under her skin as much as me. I’m a pretty intense person so that makes sense. She was always the calmer of us.
We had a great day playing in the creek for my first session of the day and we spent a little extra time catching up between throwing rocks and keeping the kids from too much mud 🙂
