Hello Illinois. These blogs are a part of a series for my yearly Illinois mini sessions. I started my business in Illinois 10 years ago and have so many faithful and wonderful clients that I make the trek back from Arizona and offer mini’s once a year.  I just love that my Illinois clients have followed me and invested in me year after year, regardless of the fact I have now been in Arizona for 4 years! Every year I post that I’m coming and check out dates everyone is available, and the slots almost always booked up full. I can begin to tell you how loved and honored I feel by this loyalty. So here I am again in the heat of July, shooting 11 families, seniors, and creatives. Thanks again to everyone, I’m thrilled to share these and I’ll see you all next summer!

So you guys know what a step and repeat is right? If not this won’t be a very clever title. lol.

“A step and repeat …is a publicity backdrop used primarily for event photography, printed with a repeating pattern such that brand logos or emblems are visible in photographs of the individuals standing in front of it. Step and repeat banners are common fixtures of red carpet, fashion events, or custom-printed for weddings or galas in order to give a more “celebrity-like” feel to attendees’ photos.” Wiki

In simple terms, it’s the same thing over and over and over again. Well I would like to call this shoot step & repeat because literally, THIS family has been the most consistent and supportive client I’ve ever had. They have booked me year, after year, after year to photograph their life. Locations have changed, babies were born, kids have grown, and I have been so honored to yearly be apart of this journey. I really love this family 🙂

Thanks for making me a priority in your lives. It’s been such a joy to watch these kids grow up in front of my artistic eye. It’s also been great to watch my skill grow. haha. I’m sure you are thankful as well.
