Getting To Know You A Tonto National Park Engagement Shoot
I’m so behind on blogging it’s a sin. Okay that’s a little too far. I was always one for flair. lol.
But honestly, I am aware that blogging all my photoshoots is the best way for me to
1. Give my clients a sneak peek of my fav images from their shoots instead of making them wait several weeks to see anything! They really enjoy it and I love sharing it!
2. It helps my SEO a ton. (Search Engine Optimization) This is how people find me online. And a lot of people find me online, especially now in the light of over a year in isolation societally. No more bridal shows, no in person networking, just word of mouth and online searching friends.
So I really have to be relentless in my pursuit of sharing these beautiful shoots.
So here I am friends. I am sharing another gorgeous Tonto national park engagement shoot and humming in my head, getting to know you, getting to know all about you. lol.
See I’m getting to know this couple during the shoot and they are getting to know me. This helps SO much on the wedding day. We get all the awkward “what do I do with my hands: pout of the way during this shoot so the wedding day is smooth and life giving. They know their favorite poses, and they know I will capture them beautifully. What’s better than relaxing and letting go on your big day right? So I’m getting to know Graeme but Sarah and I have met before. This is a totally random story, but I think it’s funny. So yeah, I’m gonna share it. lol.
See the bride (Sarah) and I met because I was commissioned by Modern Luxury magazine to take photos of a dog… yeah truth. A dog that was named the pet experience manager of the Wigwam. And I was commissioned to go take his photo for his big debut article. (The article is printed on page 42 of the JulyAugust 2019 issue but also is featured on their site HERE. You will get a kick out of the story.)
Sarah and I had such a hilarious experience working together that fine day. I mean what’s more bonding and humbling than laying on the ground together barking and meowing like a psychopath while a tiny dog controls your fate from the lofty seat of a golf cart… Needless to say we became quick friends. So when Sarah got engagement, there was no choice obviously in who would go the extra mile to cover her wedding. lol.
Isn’t that story great?????? So the engagement shoot today is just the first step in the awesome lifelong journey we will enjoy together, I’m sure. Next the wedding and then years of kids & family shots. I just know it!
Thanks for reading and have a fantastic week friends!
