It’s A baby BOY and bride to be reveal and proposal shoot

I’ve somehow got fresh prince in my head when trying to think of clever blog title for this post.

I mean this blog feature is all about a pregnancy announcement infused with a surprise proposal!!! I mean talk about life flipped upside down! I’m so happy for these soon to be parents AND their upcoming wedding! What a fun exciting adventure!!!!

Over the next year, Their lives will no doubt be flipped upside down in a wonderful beautiful way.

I’ve been friends with Mark for YEARS. Him and my husband met and became fast friends when we out west and lived in Tacoma Washington for a season in 2014.

He was an instant friend for me too. He’s so fun and kind and we share a die hard LOST (tv series) obsession. It’s been so great that he also moved out to Pheonix and we have continued the friendship. I know he’s a lifelong friend and I’m so increidbly happy for him for this next stage in his life!

It was so wonderful to meet Amanda during this shoot and get to celebrate this amazing moment in her life. Not only is she the proudest glowing mama she is ALSO now a bride to be!!!!! All the emotions she lets loose on this shoot are life giving and so fun to capture as a photographer. I feel like I should just do proposals all the time now. I LOVE the tears of joy and shock and totally GLEE!

Okay so maybe I won’t do a lot of proposals. They are exciting but also holy hell hard for photographers. haha NO pressure… I mean just find the BESt light, the best moment, keep it a secret and stage it without being totally weird… also lesson learned NO smoke bombs during the proposal. HAHA. It totally messed with out light for the moment he went on a knee. OMG!

Lesson learned. Either way enjoy this wonderful life turning upside down beautiful
