Get Married Your Way A Chandler Courthouse Wedding

Who says there is one way to get married? No one anymore friends! NO ONE. One fabulous trend to come out of Covid is getting married your way. How you want it. A small affair, an intimate family standing ceremony, elopements, the huge 300+ wedding, a courthouse wedding. They are all the same. At the end of the day… you are MARRIED. And I for one am VERY glad for this.

And I am VERY glad for my couple today! A giant congrats to my dear friend Andrew and his new bride Cait!!!!!

I just love Andrew. I have known him for around 7 years and he was one of the first people I met when I moved here to Arizona. We actually got to know each other much better when I joined our church band. Andrew is a very talented bass player and I sang. So of course we were always joking around and just being ourselves every week for years!

Andrew is such a caring person. He is kind and generous. He is hilarious and just a really good friend. He’s also an entomologist so he’s my “on call insect identifier guy” and having a little boy let me tell you… I need to know what each and every “bug” we find is. So of course poor Andrew has had to receive many blurry photos of random insects and identify them for us. haha.

So of course I was beyond overjoyed when Andrew texted to ask if I was free to photograph his small intimate wedding ceremony at the courthouse! Not only would I get to meet this fabulous woman who had claimed my friends heart, but also meet more of his family and hers!

So we planned a very small photoshoot at the San Marcos Crown Plaza directly across the street from the courthouse. We enjoyed a very casual photoshoot with the happy couple and their immediate family then simply traveled across the street and waited for a seriously wonderful and kind judge to let us into the courtroom for their vows & ceremony. It was an amazing and wonderful afternoon and I beyond honored to have capture this day for them!

So end of post lesson… get married your way! Do what is right for you and at the end of the day you will live happier ever after. lol. Okay done being silly! Just enjoy the photos and leave the couple your love!
