The Joy Of Casual Lifestyle Family Photography

Okay so you have met Max already here on my blog! I know, I know, you don’t recognize him. Neither did I! haha. I LOVE doing newborn shoots & one year packages because watching these darling babies grow up is my FAVORITE! EVER! You can take a peek at Max’s newborn shoot HERE.

Anyways he’s the cutest little bundle of joy EVER!

I was so obsessed with all his smiles and non stop joy for our super casual lifestyle family photoshoot! I can’t even with this age too. The 6-9month phase is one of the very best as a photographer. Not only can they sit up but their personalities emerge there are lots of smiles and they don’t totally have stranger danger yet! meaning they are curious about my camera and smiling at me if I smile at them. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

This shoot was seriously perfect. I was overjoyed when my client said they wanted to do something super casual and realistic.

They truely wanted lifestyle photography to remember this phase in life. Who they are, what they do most days and capture them as a family unit. So we brought a blanket and some toys and enjoyed a morning shoot at The Scott resort. Who wouldn’t want to spend a morning at the Scott just hanging out?

I captured so many lifestyle images and really felt like I got to see the joy and lifestyle of this family and all the precious moments they spend together. Just a glimpse but enough to create beautiful memories for them.
