In the world of small businesses, supporting one another is not just a choice. It’s also a way of building a network of shared success, and it’s vital to finding joy as an entrepreneur.

Recently, when my dear friend Carly at the Good Vibe Media and Good Vibe Studio celebrated the studio’s one-year anniversary, the call to support each other became crystal clear.

We were asked for a donation for door prizes at the celebration. We contributed a photography and consulting bundle featuring our two companies Fully Alive Photography and Fully Alive Creative.

Favorite stylist, Risa Kostis, and makeup artist extraordinaire, Azure.

Together, we form a dream team, and the opportunity to collaborate for a greater cause was too good to pass up. The lucky winner, Ciara, a clean scientist mama eager to increase her brand awareness, became the focal point of our joint effort.

Before the shoot, meticulous planning took place.

Mood boards, vision boards, and pre-shoot consultations set the stage for the perfect synergy between styling and photography. Risa and I, armed with the client’s vision, had a virtual stylist session to ensure every detail was thoughtfully considered.

Bringing Azure into the mix for hair and makeup completed the trifecta of expertise. She was needed to elevate Ciara’s presence in the visual realm and she did such a glorious job! Like always!

Working with Ciara was not just about creating beautiful images; it was about forging a connection with a like-minded entrepreneur. Her ease in front of the camera, combined with her genuine personality, made the shoot not only productive but also enjoyable.

Ciara recently launched the Upliving podcast, a testament to her commitment to positive green living.

Collaborating on her brand journey was not just a donation; it was a shared experience of growth, creativity, and support – a reminder that in the world of small businesses, we are stronger together.
