An Arcadia In Home Lifestyle Family Photoshoot

As a photographer, there’s nothing more fulfilling than documenting the milestones of a family over the years. Caroline’s family is a testament to this cherished journey.

Our story began with friendship like al good things in life! haha. We met in the wedding industry when Caroline was working with Bright Events. She’s just such a BRIGHT light herself. She’s so kind and funny and beautiful inside and out- it was an instant friendship!

Then all the photography began with her engagement

Then the enchanting wedding at El Chorro!

The lush, romantic setting provided the perfect backdrop for their vows, and capturing those precious moments was an honor.

Fast forward a bit, and I was invited into their home to photograph the arrival of their first son.

The newborn in-home session was intimate and tender, capturing the early days of parenthood with all its sweet, sleepy moments. Those photos hold a special place in my heart as they marked the beginning of a new chapter for Caroline and her husband.

But then they moved to California!

I was so sad to see them go but so happy for them to have this new adventure! We didn’t say goodbye thought and have stayed in touch the last 4 years. Of course! I couldn’t let this kind of friendship ever go!

And little do you know I got a text saying they were coming to town and wanted to do another shoot with a NEW baby girl!!!!!! Of course my answer was YES YES YES!

They had booked a charming Airbnb for their stay, and it was the perfect setting for a family lifestyle session. This time, I had the pleasure of meeting their newest addition, a beautiful baby girl.

The shoot was nothing short of magical. We spent the afternoon capturing carefree, real-life photos that truly reflected the personality and dynamics of this wonderful family.

From playful interactions to quiet, tender moments, every shot told a story of love and togetherness. Caroline’s family has grown, and so has the depth of our friendship. Being part of their journey and capturing these timeless moments is a privilege I deeply treasure. Here’s to many more years of documenting their beautiful story!
